This painting is a wedding gift: the client felt that “The Kiss” by Klimt with its symbolism could well represent the essence of the married couple.
The client has accepted what I proposed with my free interpretation: the original is an oil painting on a large square canvas with gold leaf. I made a painting on wood in a rectangular measurement suitable for a room in a normal house, shaping the edge of the wood that has done so by frame. The painting was executed in mixed media: acrylic paint to sketch and then the finished oil. E ‘was used 24 carat gold leaf.
The client provided me with an invocation good omen for the bride and groom, which was artfully inserted between the leaves under the feet of the woman kneeling.
