KINTSUGI RESTORATION OF A PORCELAIN SUGAR BOWL

The customer, after starting to glue the many fragments,

he had to surrender to the difficulty of the operation.

It therefore required that the breakage and the clumsy attempt at gluing remained evident

and somehow exalted through the ancient Kintsugy method.

I proceeded to glue the last fragments, to fill the fractures,

and then to apply 24 karat gold leaf along the joint lines.
